I have been trying to explain to Jack about Dad's hip operation but the conversation always ends up with Jack telling me the doctor checked his ear. Sometimes he elloborates to tell me about the stamp the doctor put on his hand. I don't seem to be able to get across that Grandpa's doctor visit was a bit more serious

We went & visited Alice & Ollie today and on the way there he told me "Ollie Jack's friend" and in an opposite to the truth sort of a way "Ollie eat Jack's food". They played really well together - the best they have - both jumping into bed with teddys & playing at going to sleep and both doing something very quiet in the hallway that they obviously thought they wouldn't be allowed to.
