I am now retired and living in Kerkeri, but keeping my hand in with a little science on the side. My association with the University of Edinburgh is ongoing.

An ambition is to tie up some loose ends in my turbulence work, then to write an overview paper bringing together various results from my work on the structure of turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer during the past 15 years into a coherent story (pun intended). Other ambitions are to see more of our family, to re-establish man's dominion over nature in my garden, and to do more boating and fishing. Time will tell how the priorities work out.
