Henry Nutton Ayers and Jane Whislay married by licence, both single, both signed. Witnesses were Philip PARKER & Mary SPARKE (her mark) Marriage record specified that Henry Nutton Ayers was from Boxford, Jane was from Great Waldingfield. 85

Jane AYERS was aged 65 and resident in Boxford when she died in 1813 but she was buried in Great Waldingfield. 85 She was probably living with her son Henry in Boxford.

Misc. Notes
Great Waldingfield Parish Records for his marriage and burial specify that the Henry Nutton AYERS who married Jane WHISLAY came from Boxford. The marriage record in the great Waldingfield parish records, show that Henry was from that parish but Jane was from Boxford.

I am assuming that this Henry Nutton AYERS and his wife Jane WHISLAY were the parents of Henry AYERS, father of our Henry Nutton AYERS who married Martha Ann NUNN.

Partridges transcription of the Boxford parish records show the christening of NUTTON, Nutton Ayres, son of Hen. AYRES and Jane on 16 Sep 1774. This appears to be erroneous and is probably our Henry AYERS.
