Misc. Notes
Henry AYERS and Abraham AYERS were probably brothers or cousins. It seems that Henry, a widower, married Abraham's widow.

I am guessing that Martha is the second wife of the Henry AYERS who was married to Anne NUTTON. This would mean that Ann NUTTON died between the birth of her last child in 1746 and the birth of Martha and Henry's first child in 1757.

It would also mean that Martha's first husband Abraham AYERS died before 1757 but after the conception of his child Abraham who was born in 1755.

Parish records show that Martha AYERS was a 76 year old widow when she died in 1803.

Is this the right couple, found on www.cosford-database.co.uk/beleigh/?

Surname given as EAYRES for first two children's baptisms then as AYERS for Martha's baptism.

I have not found any record of Nutton's baptism - I'm only guessing that these are his parents.

There was also a baby called Abraham AYERS from Boxford who was buried in Groton on 12 Jun 1742.

Parish records show he was 66 when he died
