In the 1861 Census for Shiffnal, Shropshire, I found George Binnersley, at 21 High St. He was aged 34, born in Burlington, Shropshire, married, head of household, occupation Tan Yard Lab; his wife Mary Ann Binnersley, aged 29, born Shiffnal; and their daughters Mary, aged 4, and Mari, aged 1, both born in Shiffnal. At the same address were two boarders - James Maiden a 68 year old widower, Ag Lab, b Immington (?), Shropshire; and Joel Dain, an 82 year old widower, wheelwright, b Lusdon, Staffordshire.
