Met first husband at Keith and Lesley's wedding. Travelled extensively in Europe with him after their marriage.

1979 - Lived in Selby (until 1987). Was active in local community and conservation groups. Marriage break up at end of 1979. Science and Biology teacher at a Technical school. Met Gary through scuba diving club.

Left teaching after starting a family. Developed pottery interest and attended Dandenong TAFE ceramics course mid-late 1980s. Operated a studio and ran pottery courses from home in Mt. Waverley, Victoria (1987-92) and Lota, Queensland.

Other Interests - gardening, sewing, environmental groups.

Lois suffered from bipolar disorder (manic depression), an affliction apparently inherited through the Robinson line since Joe and Jim Robinson also suffered from this illness. First signs were in the late 70s, and the problems became quite serious by late 1980's. The strain of her erratic behaviour and depressions eventually caused marriage difficulties and separation from her second husband in April 1997.

Lived in the family home in Everton Park, a Brisbane suburb, until studies were complete at the University of Queensland. Then moved to Melbourne for work at Telecom Research Labs. Lived at Mt. Waverley 1977-82. Married Dec 1981 and moved to Selby 1982 and started family. Moved back to Mt. Waverley, 1987, then Lota, a bayside suburb of Brisbane, in Dec. 1992.

Interest in radio and electronics was sparked by father's profession as a technician. Trained as an Electronics Engineer and worked on computer communications. In 1989, became an independent consultant and lecturer giving public seminars in Australia and S. E. Asia. Co-author of a book on "Open Systems Interconnection".

Sporting interests are surfing, scuba diving and sailing. Met Tricia through a scuba diving club. Relationship started during a dive in Port Philip Bay (after break up of Trish's first marriage).
